Homecoming

Wed, 09/20/2017 - 8:30am

Boothbay Region High School has been celebrating Homecoming this week (games, dress-up days and decorating) and activities will continue Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 21-23.

After the school hallway decorating is judged from 10:45 to 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, a pep rally will be held in the gym from about 11:15 to noon. Students will be able to work on their Homecoming parade floats and the bonfire from noon to 2:30 p.m.

The Homecoming parade on Thursday will depart from the Boothbay Harbor Fire Station at approximately 5:30 p.m. and proceed up Townsend Avenue to the school. After the floats are disassembled and some of the float material is put on top of the bonfire, the BHFD will light the bonfire.

The Seahawk football team will host Maranacook on Sherman Field Friday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. Both teams are undefeated at 3-0.

The Homecoming dance will be held on Saturday night, 7 to 10, at the Boothbay Railway Village Town Hall.
