The son of Harry W. and Alice (Hunt) Scruton, he was born April 21, 1928 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. A graduate of Ridley College, St. Catherines, Ontario, he also attended Drew University.

During the summer, Harry’s experience working with the forestry service in Colorado maintaining the mountain trails, riding a horse and packing a horse, was a memorable one for him.

Harry not only enjoyed playing golf, he became involved in making and repairing golf clubs. Many summer days were spent sailing or motoring along the coast of Maine. Harry will be remembered by friends and family for his wonderful sense of humor and his enjoyment and appreciation of life. Harry saw the beauty in life and the world around him.
