In the Mountain Valley Conference boys tennis championship match at Hall-Dale on Wednesday afternoon, May 27, the top-ranked Bulldogs won the title, 3-2, in matches over second-ranked Boothbay Region High School.

Boothbay's wins were registered by first singles player Nick Gorey and third singles player Ray Perry. Perry had lost to his opponent, Jacob Young, during the regular season but won in three sets on Wednesday.

Hall-Dale also defeated Boothbay during the regular season, 4-1, in matches.

Hall-Dale and Boothbay will enter the Western Maine Class C tournament ranked number one and two, respectively on June 4.
