A great musical season

    Dear Editor:

It has been a great musical season for me at the Tugboat Inn and all the places I have worked. Thanks to all who have supported me and who have performed with me so many nights. The talents have so varied, fun and entertaining, making each night sparkle. Every night is a new adventure.

The night the crew from the Impossible Dream came to the lounge, with Winter, the beautiful service dog, the room was bustling with vibrant voices and smiles to welcome the crew aboard with us, to sing, laugh and be happy.

Unexpectedly, my two friends, Kurt and Nancy from the original downtown Carousel Theater, happened to be there. Kurt sang the “Impossible Dream” to the crew. The entire evening was magical and wonderful.

To all my friends coast to coast, I wish you could stay here with me to enjoy this wonderful bounty, that few others ever can attain, including the friendships — rare beyond compare — if you live in my hometown of Boothbay Harbor, Maine.

I thank each and everyone of you. I wish you peace, happiness and love for the new year.

P.S. The birthday party was the icing on the cake!
