    Dear Editor:

Rotarians ventured up Route 27 to the American Legion Hall for the 20th annual Soup Bowl Supper April 7. They were joined by over 190 friends, relatives and neighbors. Emcee Daren Graves got festivities rolling at 6 p.m. sharp.

On behalf of the Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club and The Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts, I would like to thank the community and local businesses for all their generous support of the supper. A special thank you to all of the wives, spouses and friends of the Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club.

The following restaurants and local businesses supported the Rotary/Watershed bowl supper:

Sarah’s Cafe, Andrews' Harborside Restaurant, Boothbay Harbor House of Pizza, Howard House Lodge, Mama D’s, St. Andrews Village, East Boothbay General Store, China By The Sea, Boat House Bistro, Sweet Dreams, Eventide, Sam Kaler, Grover’s Hardware, Hannaford, Hammond Lumber, G & G Quick Service & Towing, Advance Auto Brunswick, Coastal Car Wash, T & D Variety, Car Quest, Wiscasset NAPA, Boothbay Region Greenhouses and Conley’s Garden Center.

We would also like to thank the Boothbay Railway Village for the loan of folding chairs, as well as the Boothbay Legion for the use of the hall. Last, but never least, Fran Rudoff and over 15 potters from the Watershed Center (and also Ann Hedgcock), who make the beautiful bowls. And, of course, Kim Mills, our Rotary chef who manages our kitchen.

    Chairman for the last time
