Gloria Lorraine (Brewer) Larkin of Woolwich died Febuary 9, 2016 at Central Maine Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was a devoted wife, proud and loving mother and grandmother of two.

Gloria was born in Boothbay Harbor on October 17, 1952, the daughter of Edwin L. Brewer Sr. and Lorraine (Emmet) Brewer.

She attended New Jersey and Pennsylvania schools.

She worked at Bath Iron Works and later on she was a devoted stay at home mom. She enjoyed being with both of her children and grandchildren. She loved playing games, doing puzzles, watching old movies and cowboy shows, and reading Stephen King books.

Gloria was predeceased by her father, Edwin L. Brewer Sr., her mother, Lorraine (Emmet) Brewer, a sister, Bernadette Osgood, and a nephew, Cory Barter.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Larkin; her two sons, Shane and Liz Larkin of Mechanic Falls and Ryan Larkin and Kristi Turner of Bath; two grandchildren, Waylon and Wyatt Larkin of Mechanic Falls; two sisters, Eileen Barter and her husband Ernie of Whitefield and Loriann Barter and her husband Stanley of Boothbay Harbor; two brothers, Edwin L. Brewer Jr. and his wife Jackie of Brunswick and David Brewer and his wife Cheri of Boothbay; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be a small gathering for friends and family on May 7 at noon at Evergreen Cemetery in Boothbay.
