George David Jones died Feb. 7, 2015 at his home in Brewer.

He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on April 15, 1943, the son of the late Clyde and Sally Hodgdon Jones.

David grew up in East Boothbay and graduated from Boothbay Region High School. He went to Brewer and worked at Igol Electric until he retired.

David is survived by his sisters, Sarah Giles of Boothbay Harbor, Martha Holbrook and Rachel Jones of East Boothbay, and a brother, Jonathan Jones of Boothbay Harbor.

There will be a family service later this spring.
