A fundraising supper will be held at the Edgecomb Community Church on Saturday, Sept. 19, to benefit the Edgecomb Fire Department. Sponsored by the Mission Outreach Committee, it will be held in the wheel chair accessible church fellowship hall. This supper is an annual event to provide community support for the valuable and extremely important work of the Fire Department volunteers.

The menu consists of homemade casseroles, salads, rolls, beverages and elegant desserts.  The supper will be served from 5 to 6 p.m. The charge is $8 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

The thrift shop will open at 4:30 p.m. for browsers who come early.

The church is located on Cross Point Road in Edgecomb. Take Route 27 from Route 1 toward Boothbay Harbor. Go approximately one mile to Mason Road, which bears off to the right. At the end of Mason Road, about 200 yards, bear right on Eddy Road. The next left is Cross Point Road. The church is on the corner.
