Dear Editor:

It seems as if winter has come a little earlier this year. Fall seems to be behind us now with the snow starting to fall. As I look around town I see decorations for Christmas already appearing.

Certainly it is a wonderful holiday where we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. But it seems that many have forgotten about Thanksgiving. It is a day set aside each year to thank God for His blessing on us.

We live in a country that is like no other in the world. Yes there are problems, but still America has been blessed by God.

This Thanksgiving as we gather with family and friends to enjoy a good meal, some fellowship and even watching some football, let us take some time to reflect on God's goodness and the blessings that we enjoy, and Thank God for it.
