The Good Shepherd Food Bank, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to reduce hunger in Maine’s 16 counties, will send its food mobile to the Boothbay region on Nov. 17 and Dec. 14.

The large truck will be parked in one of the parking lots of the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor, which is located at the corner of Eastern Avenue and Route 27. The food is free to anyone in need of food assistance.

On Thursday, Nov. 17, food will be distributed from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The food mobile will return on Dec. 14 to deliver food at the same location from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. People should bring their own bags and boxes.
