Fair play on property

    Dear Editor:

A message to (Boothbay Harbor) Town Manager Tom Woodin: I believe if a person holds a position that he or she might give guidance to do the right thing to correct a bad situation, it is his or her obligation to do so, regardless if he or she dislikes the person benefiting.

After reading the facts sent to the selectmen prior to the meeting from the town manager, it was clear how he wanted the board to address my problem. I don't believe, in any way, I tried to blindside anyone. I was up front with everything.

I would like to thank Chairman Denise Griffin for leaving me her facts to the selectmen from Tom Woodin. Finding her facts in my folder this morning make me understand why the meeting went the way it did. Too often it costs way too much money to make the right things happen.
