The highlight of my summers in Boothbay now, besides the natural beauty, is the “Paint and Pour” sessions, taught by Selina Reid at Rocktide Inn. I can’t believe what a fine teacher Selina is. Each week she helps non-artists learn to create a watercolor, leaving in three hours with a finished, mounted painting and a huge boost in confidence. I don’t know how to draw, yet have painted remarkably well with her patient, enthusiastic direction. I thank Rocktide for hosting her and encourage others to attend her sessions. Selina is a jewel of a teacher.
