An easy solution

Tue, 05/10/2016 - 8:00am

Dear Editor:

I have been vising the Boothbay peninsula since 2007. I have been there in July, August and September. I have several times visited the Botanical Gardens and Knickercane Park. I am a frequent customer at Bet's and the Farmers Market. I regularly use the bottle and can drop off at the Common. At no time have I ever had a frustrating time getting on Route 27 toward Boothbay Harbor.

The roundabout seems like a huge expense to solve a non-existent problem in my opinion. Even in real heavy traffic in states further south on the east coast, when a left turn is frustrating, take right and turn around.

An easy solution.

We'll be back in September with 14 to 20 people to add to the congestion.
