Dear Editor:

With Earth Day just around the corner we acknowledge the wonderful work that the Boothbay Region Refuse Disposal District does for us and the environment. Every day is earth day at BRRDD. Boothbay Region Refuse Disposal District is widely acknowledged to be one of that best and most advanced refuse disposal districts in the state and we appreciate all they do for us. It's a sometimes challenging job, especially during summer and greatly increased summer traffic. Yet they help us all with patience and professionalism.

The staff is ably lead well known and liked manager Steve Lewis. The fine staff includes Rena Smith, Paul Noah, Bill Johnson, David Manson, Steven Lewis, Jake Hodgdon, Rob Latter, Tyler Balsdon, David Brewer and Anastasia Giles. Our thanks for the great job they all do.
