Drew Blaney of Southport was recently promoted to supervising senior in the tax practice at Baker Newman Noyes, an accounting and consulting firm in Portland.

Blaney earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting, from the University of Maine, Orono. Blaney is currently working toward his master’s degree in taxation from Bentley University.
