Cod’s Head Fish House and BBQ will host a Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5. The event will take place at Cod’s Head Restaurant, located on the pier at Cap’n Fish’s Waterfront Inn, 63 Atlantic Avenue, in Boothbay Harbor.

“When we chose the location for Cod’s Head, we wanted to keep the authentic, coastal Maine, seaside shack feel of the existing building, but upgrade the areas necessary to improve customer experience: kitchen, bar, restroom, indoor and outdoor seating,” said owners Ralph and Elena Smith. “The most notable improvement we made was replacing the windows that wrap around the entire structure, not only enhancing the (water views), but also making them operational. So now, in addition to our outdoor seating, we are happy to offer indoor seating with the best cross breeze available on the Midcoast, short of being on a boat.”

The Business After Hours will feature authentic barbecue and sauces served by Cod’s Head along with local beer and wine. Attendees are encouraged to bring their business cards to be entered into a drawing to win one of five fabulous door prizes.

The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours are open to members and non-members and everyone from the business community is encouraged to participate.
