Chewonki comes to the Lincoln Home for a talk on biomimicry

Tue, 08/22/2017 - 9:00am

We welcome the public to join us on Tuesday, Aug. 29, from 3 to 4 p.m., for a free and informative talk. Chewonki’s staff will assist us in exploring the ways engineers have taken advantage of nature’s bright ideas through biomimicry. Velcro is a widely known example of biomimicry. Meet some live animals that help us draw comparisons between human-made products and animal adaptations.

The Lincoln Home is located at 22 River Road, Newcastle.  Please contact Rhonda Hanna for more information, 563-3350.
