Chester R. Brewer

Chester R. Brewer, 35, died at his home in Boothbay on Aug. 21, 2015.

Chester was born May 11, 1980, to Wallace Brewer Jr. and Linda Sprague Brewer. He grew up in Boothbay and graduated from Boothbay Region High School.

Chester worked as a sternman for Andrew Kenny. He loved being on the water fishing. He was a typical “Mountain Man.” He loved the outdoors and enjoyed trapping, fishing and hunting. He also loved spending time with his dogs. He would give you the shirt off his back, if you needed it. He was easy-going and stubborn at the same time.

He was a member of the Knights of Pythias.

He was predeceased by his father, Wallace H. Brewer Jr.; special uncle, Bobby Morton; and by his special dog, Molly B.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Brewer of Boothbay; sisters, Donna Gregory and her husband Marty of Jefferson and Barbara (BJ) Warlo of Boothbay; a brother, James Brewer and his wife Angel of Port St. Lucie, Florida; nephews, Patrick Gregory and his wife Kristie of Nobleboro, Timothy Gregory of Jefferson, Daniel Lewis and his wife Kathy of Wiscasset and James Paul Brewer of Port St. Lucie, Florida; nieces, AmyLynn Balsdon and her husband Tyler of Boothbay, Chelsea Copeland and her husband Paul of Boothbay Harbor, and Stephanie Brewer of Port St. Lucie, Florida; special aunt, Anna Morton of Boothbay; one great niece and two great nephews.

A private family gathering will be held. Contributions in Chester’s memory may be made to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 7, Edgecomb, ME 04556.
