Dear Editor:

Mike Pander's candidacy for Boothbay Selectman is a promise of positive change for the town. Mike has a range of professional, civic and personal experiences that makes him highly qualified to lead the town of Boothbay forward. 

There are many important issues ahead that will require a person with his strong character and proven ability to problem solve in a cooperative, inclusive manner while fostering respect for the town's residents and all other persons. His experience and knowledge gained during his tenure as vice chair and  member of the town of Boothbay's Planning Board is invaluable. We feel that Mike Pander is the most promising candidate for a seat on the Boothbay Select Board.
