CG Auxiliary Flotilla 25 installs new leadership for 2017

At their January meeting, members of USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 25 installed new leadership for 2017. Elected to the flotilla commander position was Boothbay Harbor resident, David Eastwood; Jerry Homer of East Boothbay was elected flotilla vice commander. Members appointed to staff officer positions were sworn-in as well.

The elected flotilla leadership along with appointed staff officers oversees the day to day operations of the flotilla and its many specialized areas of activity which include: Operations, Member Training, Aids to Navigation, Public Affairs, Vessel Examination, Communications, Public Education and Human Resources. The flotilla and its 48 members work closely with CG Station Boothbay Harbor providing operational support, communications watchstanding and training augmentation for the active duty boat crews at the station.
