The Bowdoin College Concert Band, under the direction of John P. Morneau, will perform its annual Fall Concert program on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m. in Studzinski Hall on the Bowdoin Campus. The theme for this performance is “an I’ll be in Scotland afore ye” – a celebration of the music of Scotland.

Among the concert selections will be: “Entrance of the Clans,' Camille Saint-Saens; “Ye Banks” and “Braes O’Bonnie Doon,” Percy Grainger; “Mountain Thyme,” Samuel Hazo; “Loch Lomond,” Frank Ticheli; “Four Scottish Dances,” Malcolm Arnold; “Bonnie Annie Laurie March,” John Philip Sousa; “Old Scottish Melody,” Charles Wiley; and “Culloden” by Julie Giroux.

Iron up you kilts and Tartan Highland clothing and join us for this concert of Scottish delights! This free concert is open to the public as well as the Bowdoin College community.
