Cecelia M. Widup, 69, of Edison, New Jersey and Sprucewold in Boothbay Harbor, died August 17, 2014 at RWJ University Hospital, New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Born in South Bend, Indiana, she resided in New York City before moving to Edison 22 years ago.

She graduated from Manchester College, Manchester, Indiana in 1966 with a bachelor’s degree in business and Spanish, and from Fordham University, Joseph D. Martino Graduate School of Business, New York City in 1974 with a Master of Business degree in personnel relations.

She worked as an executive manager for INCO Limited in New York City, retiring in 1999 after over 30 years of service.

Cecelia was a member of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries; Director, Corporate Transfer Agents Association; Stock Transfer Association; National Committee, Trust Companies Association of Canada and Association of MBA Executives.

Surviving are her partner of 47 years, Sherron Williamson; siblings David Widup and his wife Nancy Allen of Montville, New Jersey, and Richard Widup Jr. and his wife Debi of Evansville, Indiana; nieces and nephews Damian, Ben, Amanda, Kari Lyn, Justin, Jay and Mark.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014 from 7 to 8 p.m. with Words of Remembrance from 8 to 9 p.m. at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave. (Route 27) Metuchen, New Jersey. (costello-runyon.com)
