Dear Editor:

Fantastic is my word to describe the two performances of “Carmina Burana.”

at the Congregational Church in Boothbay Harbor performed by the Lincoln Festival Chorus.

The difficulty of such a piece is hard to describe. Let it be said that a chorus that is able to sing in multiple languages, none of which is known to the singer, takes incredible effort on the part of the chorus as well as the director Maestro Antolini. Both should be highly applauded.

Each of the concerts performed would have brought a massive ovation from Carl Orff himself.
