Business start-up workshop March 21

What does it take to plan, start and run a successful small business? Bill Card, economic development specialist for the U.S. Small Business Administration, and David Hill, Maine Small Business Development Center director and certified business advisor, will present a workshop for people looking to start or re-energize a business on Tuesday, March 21 at 8 a.m. at the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission office, 297 Bath Road, Wiscasset. Learn about putting together a business plan, evaluating market opportunities, assessing risk, and other keys to successful business start up and management. This is an interactive session, with plenty of time for discussion and questions/answers.

The workshop is free of charge and is presented in conjunction with the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission and the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development. To register, please go to or call 882-5983.
