On behalf of the production crew and board of directors of Boothbay Region Community Television, we would like to extend a warm thank you to the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce and the community for the exceptional time we had hosting a Business After Hours event on June 1.

A very special thanks to The Harbor Theatre for co-hosting the event and providing the unique venue, as well as the tasty bites and beverages that were prepared by Wannawaf and Boothbay Craft Brewery. Another big thank you is in store for Harbor Embroidery who generously donated the custom apparel sporting the “TV Starring Us” logo.

During the event, BRCTV showcased its latest projects on the big screen, which included “Who We Are,” a tribute looking back at our station’s past; “A Place To Call Home,” a recent promotional film for the Boothbay region; and the official trailer to “Walking Home,” a documentary following several community members on their journey along the Appalachian Trail. “Walking Home” will premier at the Harbor Theatre on September 8 during the week long celebration of Harbor Fest. Tickets to the red carpet event are on sale now.

BRCTV was also excited to announce the launch of its new website brctv.org which will serve as the region’s hub for entertainment, community events and archival history. The new website, which is updated daily, accompanies the unveiling of our sponsorship opportunities and video production work for businesses and organizations throughout the region.

It’s been a very special time for our local access channel. As we continue to grow our support base, we will be committed to bettering our service to the community by bringing the very best local programming to our region and beyond!
