BRHS Project Graduation 2015 fundraiser announced

Wed, 10/22/2014 - 7:00am

Project Graduation, a program started in the Oxford Hills area in 1980 to provide a safe chemical-free activity for high school seniors at graduation time, has been a long-time tradition at Boothbay Region High School.

The parents and students of the BRHS Class of 2015 intend to continue the Project Graduation tradition this year. We have had two meetings so far. Many ideas have been shared regarding fundraisers and officers have been appointed.

We welcome the community to join us for our first fundraiser Friday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 25.

We will have a food table near the ticket office of the Boothbay Railway Village during the annual Ghost Train event.

We are planning to have popcorn, hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages, including hot cocoa.

We welcome you to come enjoy dinner and have a ride on the Ghost Train to kick off Halloween week.

Several other events are planned and will be advertised on Facebook, in the Boothbay Register and with fliers posted around town.
