Boothbay Region Elementary School’s 7th grade boys basketball team defeated Great Salt Bay Monday, 63-58, in Busline League playoff action in Damariscotta and will now travel to Belfast on Friday, Jan. 26 to face the Troy Howard School, for a semifinal game at 3:30 p.m.

On schedule is the BRES 8th grade boys game at Oceanside (in the old Georges Valley High School gym in Thomaston) on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 5:15 p.m. Also, the BRES 7/8 girls will host a playoff game (facing the winner of the Great Salt Bay/Troy Howard game) on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 3:45 p.m.

The league championships will be held Saturday, Jan. 27 at Camden-Rockport, times to be announced.
