Breck Holladay, class of ’75, guest speaker at Alumni Banquet

Tue, 05/23/2017 - 7:00am

Breck Holladay, a member of the Boothbay Region High School class of 1975, will be the guest speaker at this year’s Alumni Banquet on Sunday, June 4 at 6 p.m. at Boothbay Region Elementary School.

Holladay has lived in New Harbor since 1979 with RoseAnne, his wife of 38 years. In 1980, Breck started his chimney restoration business that he still runs today. His business has taken him all over Maine and its islands.

In 1985, Holladay joined the Bristol Fire Department to serve his community and is still active with the department as safety officer and chaplain. He is also very involved in his church as a leader and a servant.  Now that his children are grown, Breck and RoseAnne are traveling the world with the church on mission trips to serve and encourage those in need.

Breck has always loved Maine best of all places. Winter is to be embraced with skiing, ice boating, snowmobiling or fishing. In the summer months he is found on the water or in the mountains.

Tickets for the Alumni Banquet, sponsored by the Boothbay Region Alumni Association, must be purchased in advance — before June 2 — and will not be sold at the door. Please make checks payable to the Boothbay Region Alumni Association for $15 per person. Tickets are available in the BRHS main office or by contacting Lynn Gilley Martin, 380-5729 or email biscay@myfairpoint.net; Ann Reed, 633-5239; or Kathy Page, 633-3282.

The BRHS senior class will be guests of the Alumni Association and will be admitted free of charge. This banquet is extended to parents of the graduates and Boothbay Region High School Alumni only; no children please!

Parents are asked to please bring a dessert to share. This allows us to keep the cost of the banquet reasonable. Once again, Lisa Orne Hallinan and helpers will be preparing the meal.

The 50th reunion class, the BRHS class of 1967, will be having a table. If any other classes are organizing a table for the Banquet, please contact Lynn Gilley Martin at the above number.
