The Boothbay Region Lions were back at it after a holiday break. King Lion Ken Fitch led the 19 who braved the cold to attend the Wednesday, Jan. 10 meeting. Lion Jay showed no mercy on calorie watching folks by serving a delicious lasagna with bread! Who needs dessert after that?

Donations were once again at the top of the list and those receiving help were The Community Center, Sea & Science Center, and a community member needing help with a hearing aid purchase. Lion Steve filled in as Tail Twister and fined all $1, then matched the amount. Club members discussed ways to keep the club going. There will be more to follow at our next meeting.
