Boothbay Harbor Police Blotter: Two arrests

From June 29 through July 11, the Boothbay Harbor Police Department made two arrests and responded to 243 calls.

Arrests

On July 2 at 6:58 p.m. on McKown Pt. Road, Officer Brown arrested, Ronald Babb, 47, Bowdoinham, for operating a watercraft while under the influence.

On July 9 at 9:26 p.m. on Oak St., Officer Snyder arrested Cassandra McColl, 60, Dallas, Texas, for operating under the influence.

Summary report

 From June 29  through July 11, BHPD conducted four 9-1-1 checks, 13 property checks, seven pedestrian checks, four welfare checks, 68 motor vehicle stops, 25 escort/transports, community policing once, and were on special detail two times. They attempted to locate three people, controlled traffic two times, assisted 13 citizens, five other agencies, and with two community paramedicine visits, and received police information seven times. They responded to two animal complaints, six burglar alarms, four disabled motor vehicles, one domestic disturbance, two erratic operations, five fire alarms, three fireworks complaints, one fight, five harassment reports, one juvenile problem, two LCRC intakes, six loud noises, one littering, 10 medical emergencies, one medical alarm, two mental subjects, one missing person, two motor vehicle accidents, six parking problems, nine reports of found/lost property, five reports of suspicious activity, three traffic hazards, three threats, four theft/forgery/fraud reports, four traffic hazards, and one trespassing report.
