Arrests

On April 14 at 12:45 p.m. on Townsend Avenue, Officer Braley arrested Brandon McInnis, 27, of Somerville on a warrant for failure to appear.

On April 19 at 5:45 a.m. on Middle Road, Officer Chryplewicz arrested Eric Doughty, 42, of Boothbay Harbor for operating after suspension.

On April 20 at 10:38 p.m. on Townsend Avenue, Officers Chryplewicz and Polizzotti arrested Asa Lucier, 25, of Boothbay for eluding an officer, driving to endanger and speeding greater than 30 mph over the speed limit.

Summary Report

From April 9 through 22, Boothbay Harbor Police Department responded to 167 calls. The department conducted two 9-1-1 checks, 30 property checks, one pedestrian check, one welfare check, 10 escort/transports, and 54 motor vehicle stops; attempted to locate one person, controlled traffic 11 times, were on special detail once, received police information twice and performed community policing twice; assisted citizens three times, other agencies twice and with two community paramedicine visits; and responded to one animal complaint, six burglar alarms, one burglary, two civil complaints, one criminal mischief report, one disabled motor vehicle, one erratic operation, five fire alarms, two fires, four harassment reports, nine medical emergencies, one medical alarm, one motor vehicle accident, one parking problem, one found/lost property report, four suspicious activity reports, one traffic hazard, two theft/forgery/fraud reports, and one warrant arrest.
