The 27th annual Boothbay Charities Classic event, Sept. 21-23, was another year of great success, thanks to our major sponsors, the many volunteers, 110 golfers, 24 celebrities, the many tee, hole and cart sponsors, and the monetary, auction item and room donations from businesses and individuals. We were pleased to have been able to present a check to Special Olympics of Maine this year in the amount of $55,000 after expenses.

Edward Knight for sponsoring the hole in one prizes; and Paul Coulombe and the Boothbay Harbor Country Club and staff for their support.

Again we would not have been able to achieve our goal without the support that we received from everyone. It is greatly appreciated and we look forward to having you all on board next year. If you would like to get involved another year, please feel free to talk to one of the committee members as we are planning for another year. We are always looking for sponsors and volunteers.
