Mon, 10/20/2014 - 11:15am

    Dear Editor:

Bill Coombs is an independent. Bill is a multi-talented father of two sons from Edgecomb with a solid record of community involvement and service. He's lived in Midcoast Maine all his life, and wants to see the best opportunities for his sons and will work to ensure we all can prosper. Bill believes that we have to strongly support small business and will work for lower taxes and tax fairness.

Coombs knows that a keys for future prosperity will be effective job training and having an educated workforce. He is proud to have the endorsement to the Maine Teachers Association. As an Independent he knows that he will be in a good position to work with all that have good ideas for a stronger Maine and will be more effectively able to avoid destructive and wasteful partisanship. Bill knows that job creation has to have high priority and will work hard to see that Maine becomes more jobs-friendly. More jobs and jobs that pay a living wage.

He will support food hubs where farmers and fishermen can distribute and process locally and bring their food to schools other local markets so we can utilize more food originating in our own state! You will find lots of reasons to support the election of Independent Bill Coombs in House District 89.

House District #89 includes Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb, part of South Bristol, Southport and Westport Island. You can learn more about Bill from recent newspaper articles, including one in the Boothbay Register. You can find them online.

Give Independent Bill Coombs your vote!
