The common belief that ‘nature saves the best for last’ has just been given credence by the collection now on view at Boothbay Region Art Foundation’s downtown gallery. 

This members’ show reflects the visual richness of fall as experienced by all who are lucky enough to be here. Over 125 regional artists are exhibiting their work, ranging from acrylic paintings to wooden assemblages- including almost every medium in between.

This last show of the season continues through Columbus Day weekend, after which the popular “ArtinME” Show will be accepting entries for its 8th annual statewide, juried exhibit.

Also in just another few weeks ahead, the Annual Art in the Square Event will be looking for 12” by 12” works on canvas from our surrounding community and beyond.     

The Gallery at One Townsend Avenue will be open every day, Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our season used to end at Labor Day; now it’s being extended by leaps and bounds!
