Barbara Louise Foley, 92, died peacefully at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta on July 2, 2014.

Barbara was born on August 11, 1921 in Pepperell, Mass., the daughter of Phillip H. and Annie Louise (Brewer) Little. She attended Boothbay Harbor High School.

Barbara was a member of the United Methodist Church in Boothbay Harbor. She was also very active in the Coastal Club, Senior Citizens, and a member of the America Legion Auxiliary. She was also a former member of The Monday Club and the Pythian Sisters. She enjoyed being a homemaker and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Lee Lorrain of Boothbay Harbor; a son, Dennis Connors of Wilmington, N.C.; and a sister, Beatrice Schumacher, of Palm Coast, Fla. She is also survived by two half-sisters, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

There will be a private family graveside service later this summer.
