Dear Editor:

The Boothbay Harbor region seems to have many people who are willing to help and contribute to the betterment of our neighbors. Some of those folks are Janet and Oliver Cusano and the staff at the Southport General Store.

We are in awe of their amazing generosity this winter. We welcome donations of bread and milk for Food for Thought every week, but the winter monthly donations of prepared and delicious meals for each child in the program went above and beyond what we could ever have expected. Not only children in this community benefited from these gifts. All associated with Food for Thought witnessed true caring and concern and we are very, very appreciative. Thank you so much
