Dear Editor:

As a resident of Atlantic Avenue and frequent user of Union Street, I personally called Meredith Tillman of Maine DOT Region 2 at the beginning of June, about the need for many storm drains to be raised in conjunction with the paving. She put me in touch with Tim Pelotte who was her Maine DOT project manager for the paving. He in turn put me in touch with Andrea Glidden who is in charge of Maine DOT sewers for our region. All promised to "look into the issue."

It reminds me of the saying "If you don't have the time and money to do it right in the first place, wherever do you find the time and money to fix it?"
