Ashton A. Nickerson and Eric D. Rego were married Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor with the Rev. Sarah Foulger officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Cheryl Lorrain and Thomas Nickerson, all of Boothbay. She currently attends Southern Maine Community College and plans to graduate with an associate degree in nursing in May 2015.

The groom is the son of Brian and Patricia Rego of East Boothbay. He is a graduate of Southern Maine Community College with an associate degree. He is employed by L.L. Bean.

The maid of honor was Dana Emberley, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Robyn Ham and Elizabeth Ham, cousins of the bride. The flower girl was Monica Cookson, cousin of the groom.

The best man was Matthew Rego, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were David Manson, cousin of the groom; and Nicholas Livingston, friend of the groom. Ushers were Courtney Nickerson and Benjamin Nickerson, brothers of the bride. Ring-bearer was Landyn Rego, nephew of the groom.

A reception was held at the Southport Town Hall.
