Artists Alley: A creative Windjammer Days event

Tue, 06/09/2015 - 3:30pm

    Come to the By-Way and Bridge Street in Boothbay Harbor on Tuesday, June 23 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and visit the 20 participating artists and craftsmen in this year's Artists Alley.

    Come see beautiful works by artists, jewelers, potters, photography on canvas and tiles, a furniture maker and more!

    Artist/musician Bruce MacDonald will be playing his fiddle or painting at his tent. Many of the artists and craftsmen will be doing demos along the By-Way or by their tents.

    Enjoy music from noon to 3 p.m. by Ben Betts on steel drums and guitar and his brother Sam on the keyboards.

    Support Windjammer Days and Artists and Kids Fest by bidding high and often on the following auction items. Some of the wonderful offerings and generous local business owners are:

    • George and Nancy McEvoy: A three-hour trip on the Nellie G II for 16 people, minimum bid: $500;

    All other bidding closes at 4 p.m. during Artists Alley on the By-Way and Bridge Street!

    Participating vendors in the alley will be offering raffle prizes. Tickets will be sold by ladies in red hats — keep an eye out!
