Boothbay Region Art Foundation’s ever-so-popular 12 by 12-inch art exhibit, “Art in the Square,” will open on Friday, Nov. 28 at 10 a.m.

The 12-inch canvas squares are now available at the BRAF gallery at 1 Townsend Avenue for all artists (young and old alike) to use as “springboards” for creativity.

Each participant may enter four unframed canvases finished with paint, paper, fiber, collage, photo, bas relief material or any medium that can be affixed to its surface.

Finished pieces should be delivered on Sunday, Nov. 23 from noon to 5 p.m. or Monday, Nov. 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. If alternative times are needed (earlier or later) please call June at 207-633-2703 and leave a message.

New work can also be entered after the show opens, especially in time for the Harbor Lights Reception on Saturday, Dec. 6.

Art in the Square is a scholarship fundraiser supporting BRAF arts programming.
