Appreciate the love

Wed, 03/12/2014 - 10:00am

    Dear Editor:

We wanted, for some time now, to sit down and express our family’s appreciation to all who have helped us in our time of need.

We feel very fortunate and loved by all the prayers, food, contributions, gas, food cards, a night’s stay at the Hilton in Portland, etc. Also, we appreciate the chores done at our house by angels (washing the floors, taking the trash to the dump, folding the laundry, feeding and caring for our pets) and all the plowing, shoveling and keeping the business going, truck repairs and gas donations, building a new deck and stairs.

This is why we love to live here, to be a part of such a nice, loving and caring community. You have all made Emma’s recovery and our transition miraculous and speedy. We can’t thank you enough.

Emma’s road to recovery is not over, yet it is a lot brighter with all the love we continue to receive every day. Our many thanks to all.

    The Leonard family
