A new art exhibit opens Saturday, May 5 at Miles Memorial Hospital Hall Gallery. The work of Annette Fox will be featured through Friday, June 15.

Fox’s work is based on a unique technique she developed to create an acrylic bas relief that has dimension and color. Viewers will find her work imaginative ... ethereal ... meditative.

The Durham- based artist’s original paintings are meant to create an atmosphere of beauty, hope, and healing as well as a glimpse into the realm of the "other side."

Annette Fox has exhibited her work in various venues in New York and Maine. 

The hospital and gallery are located at 35 Miles St. (off Route 129), Damariscotta.
