Animal shelter dogs at Rescue Day at the Railway

Tue, 06/02/2015 - 8:00am

As part of its summer-long adoption specials, Lincoln County Animal Shelter will participate prominently at Rescue Day at the Railway, which will take place at the Boothbay Railway Village at 586 Wiscasset Road (Route 27) in Boothbay on Saturday, June 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Our morning dog friends will include Gracie, a blind beagle; Bosco, a robust St. Bernard; and Jake and Nala, two wonderful chocolate Labs. The shelter’s display will include Bandanas by Gracie, which will be covered with a facsimile of Gracie’s paw prints and will be for sale to benefit the shelter. All four dogs will be available for adoption.

Rescue Day at the Railway is a day filled with activities designed specifically for dogs and their families. It will feature training demos, locally made pet products, adoptable dogs and puppies, and much more.
