Dear Editor:

This past weekend, two incredible acts performed on the Opera House stage: The Kruger Brothers and Carlos Nunez. I was fortunate to see Carlos Nunez on Saturday night, a world renowned piper who was featured with the Boston Pops just last week. His warmth, humor, and ability to engage the audience were only surpassed by his electrifying musicianship and that of his band mates. By the end of the night, audience members were dancing on the stage and up and down the aisles. It was impossible to stand still.

We are so lucky to have this venue here in our own community. All of the acts are outstanding, and so often the lesser known performers will blow you away. I encourage everyone to come out and experience the energy and diversity of music at the Opera House this summer so that they can continue to attract extraordinary musicians like Carlos Nunez — you will not regret it!
