Advance ticket specials for HVNC’s Live Edge Music Festival

    Hidden Valley Nature Center’s Live Edge Music Festival promises to be an event you won’t want to miss. On Sunday, Aug. 23, four great bands are going to perform at HVNC’s new pavilion for the fourth annual Live Edge Music Festival. In addition to great music, HVNC is going to unveil a brand new trail game, and there will be great food and drink. Come spend a perfect summer day in the woods!

    Advance tickets are on sale now at many locations. Details can be found online at http://hvnc.org/annual-music-fest. When you purchase an advance ticket ($20) you also get a coupon for either a two-for-one deal at a participating restaurant, or a two-for-one on the Hardy Boat’s Seal Watch trip. Participating restaurants include: Le Garage, Montsweag Roadhouse, El Camino, Newcastle Publick House, Damariscotta River Grill, Crissy’s, Slates, and the Liberal Cup. Tickets can be purchased from HVNC via the website above, from the participating restaurants, and several other locations listed online. The number of advance tickets is limited so don’t wait.

    The lineup of bands and musicians is a powerhouse of local and statewide favorites. The day will kick off with Red Bird and their eclectic mix of influences from around the world. Then, Oen Kennedy, the award winning singer-songwriter will bring his joyful style to the stage. Third, Primo Cubano will get everyone on the dance floor with irresistible rhythms. Inanna, Sisters in Rhythm will close the day with powerful percussion and vocals.

    The music will start at noon. But don’t miss your chance to play a new version of the popular Trail Guys game at 11 a.m. All ages are invited to play this amazingly fun game that will take you out on the trails in search of a prize.

    Food and drink will be available for sale throughout the day from Jyang Lee Kitchen and the Sheepscot General Store.
