Absentee ballots have arrived at the Boothbay Town Office. Anyone wishing to cast an absentee ballot can do so in person at the office, or take a ballot with them or have one mailed to their home, said Boothbay Town Clerk Bonnie Lewis.

The polls open on May 5 at the Boothbay Town Office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Absentee ballots must be returned by May 5 before the polls close. The election will be followed by the annual town meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Boothbay Town Hall located at the Boothbay Railway Village.
