The Rocky Channels School System Alternative Organizational Structure (AOS) 98 held its budget meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 3.

Thirteen articles outlining budget items for the fiscal year of July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 with the AOS 98 School Committee’s recommended amounts were presented to the public to vote on:

Article 1 – Special Education; $165,325 passed

Article 2 – System Administration; $423,982; passed

Articles 3 – 11 – Student and staff support, regular instruction, career and technical education, school administration, transportation and buses, facilities maintenance, debt service and other commitments, and all other expenditures; $0; passed

Article 12 – Summary of proposed budget of fiscal year July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019; $589,307; passed

Article 13 – Authorizing the AOS 98 School Committee’s spending of federal, state and other grants or programs during the fiscal year; passed
