Art's and Yachts Event again today. Located at Hodgdon Yacht Services on Southport Island, Arts & Yachts features the work of 25 local artists (paintings, sculpture, jewelry, furniture, glass, fiber, wood, ceramics, photo, and print) and the yacht-making skills of a world-class boatyard. This is a special opportunity to meet some of the talented artists and craftsman of the Boothbay Region. Robinson's Lobster Wharf is a perfect stop for a bite, whether coming or going from the event or head down to Newagen Seaside Inn for lunch at the pub.

For an adventure, lobster Trap Hauling on the Damariscotta River is a true Maine experience. Sample oysters at Norumbega Farm on the river, haul a few lobster traps and learn the biz from Captain Dana, swim at Dodge Point, and dine astern in a private cove before heading back to the Town of Damariscotta. If your interested, we'll be shooting "night sky" pictures --- 9 pm at the Salt Water Pool. Conditions look just right. NO MOON. CLEAR SKY.

Enjoy your day!
