Tim Caverly stands with Everett Hunter after the Allagash Tales and Tails presentation.

Gabe Woods and brother Aiden are excited to read one of Tim Caverly’s books about Maine wildlife.

Straight from the Allagash, Tim Caverly brought tales of canoeing down the river with scenic photos and music to the Wiscasset Public Library for our FIZZ, BOOM, READ Summer Program.  The audience experienced the 90 mile Allagash River canoe trip that incorporated historic landmarks and lots of up close wildlife interaction!  Tim’s experience growing up in Baxter State park and then as the Waterway Supervisor and Maine Guide lends plenty of stories through his journey protecting Maine’s natural resources.  He is the author of five books that focus on Maine’s only National Wild and Scenic River….The Allagash!

Up next in our science themed program itinerary is Wiscasset resident Ed Polewarczyk’s recount of his Space Program experience on Wednesday, August 6 at 11:00am.
