Running Time: 1 hour, 41 minutes

The Lincoln Home has been holding a series of weekly educational meetings called the “Lunch and Learn Series to Increase Your Knowledge of Dementia.” Using art to deepen our understanding, our group will be seeing the film "Still Alice" for the matinee opening on Friday, March 27, at 2:00pm. We will hold an after-film conversation in the theatre.

Members of the public who have not been in our classes are invited to join our class members for the film conversation.

The conversation will be facilitated by the Lincoln Home staff, Lynn Norgang, RN Millie Jones-Farnham, RN and Linda Ross, RN with Steve Raymond moderating. Collectively they have many decades of professional dementia care experience, and very personal relationships to this difficult disease. Raymond is also the producer and host for the upcoming LCTV show "Spotlight on Seniors."

Both the book and the film have been highly praised by the Alzheimer's Association, medical experts in dementia care, film and book critics, and the book and film fans. The after-film conversation will be an excellent opportunity to expand our hearts and minds regarding this very difficult disease.

We are very grateful to for hosting this wonderful and enriching learning-through-art opportunity. Thank you, Andrew.
